Terms of Service for Moomin Bot

Effective Date: October 15, 2025

Welcome to Moomin Bot (the "Bot" or "Service"). These Terms of Service (the "Terms") constitute a legal agreement between you (the "User") and the developers of Moomin Bot ("we," "us"). By adding the Bot to your Discord server or using any of its features, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please cease using the Service and remove the Bot from your server immediately.

1. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Bot for its intended purposes and to strictly adhere to Discord's Terms of Service. You agree not to use the Bot for any of the following purposes:

• Illegal Activities: Promoting, encouraging, or engaging in any activity that violates local, national, or international law.
• Harassment and Abuse: Harassing, threatening, defaming, spreading hate speech, or violating the legal rights of others.
• System Abuse: Using the Bot's commands in a manner that constitutes spam, flooding, or any action that places an unnecessary burden on the system and affects other users.
• Exploiting Vulnerabilities: Attempting to find, exploit, or publicize any vulnerabilities, bugs, or errors in the Bot for personal gain. If you discover a bug, please report it to the developers through the designated channels immediately.
• Impersonation: Using the Bot to impersonate any person or entity.

2. User-Generated Content

You are solely responsible for all content (e.g., text, images, profile information) that you create, upload, or transmit through our Service. This includes, but is not limited to:

• MoominMatch and Profile: Information you provide in your profile, such as name, bio, images, and relationship status, will be visible to other users. Please exercise caution and be respectful.
• Tickets and Conversations: Messages and files you send within a Ticket channel.
• Content Responsibility: You agree not to submit content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, infringes on copyright, or violates Discord's Terms of Service.
• Right to Manage Content: We reserve the right to remove any content that we deem to be in violation of these Terms, without prior notice.
• User Interactions: We are not responsible for any actions or conversations that occur between users, especially after a match in MoominMatch or within a Ticket.

3. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its code, features, name, logo, and other related intellectual property, is the exclusive property of the developers. You are not permitted to reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

4. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as-is" and "as-available" without any warranties, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Bot, including but not limited to direct, indirect, or consequential damages.

5. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, modify, or terminate the Service, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice. Furthermore, we reserve the right to block or restrict access to the Bot for any user or server that violates these Terms, without notice.

6. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the Bot after any changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this document periodically to stay informed.
